"Lykki" is a play on the Danish word for "happiness". Happiness is a part of our culture. Our mission at Lykki is to create happier, healthier, and more productive workplaces.

I'm Calvin Johnson, Chief Energizing Officer at Lykki.com. We started, really, as a trucking company and then moved into a catalogue retailer of just office supplies. Our vision is to have one order, one delivery, one invoice. All that stuff, why can't it just come on one truck?

What we wanted to do was use technology to go back to our major wholesalers and heavily use "just-in-time" inventory.

Within The Answer Company, we focus on the various Sage products, being able to bring that full suite of what we refer to as "complementary solutions" within the Sage portfolio, really allows us to give our customers depth. We have product teams, and each of those teams really covers the full gamut from product evaluation, pre-sales, all the way through the implementation process.

(Calvin)
Sage really stood out. It's been very successful for us, really stable platform. We've done hundreds of thousands of orders through our system. We're able to pull from about 2 million square feet of inventory in four hours. Sage has brought peace of mind that we have great technology, that we can be competitive with anybody in the marketplace.

Realizing a Vision

When we look at a customer like Lykki, and we look at the type of business that they're in, we find that we have a really strong cultural alignment. The vision at The Answer Company is "People First", so when we're talking to a company we recognize that we're talking to people.

(Calvin) 
The Answer Company spent a tonne of time helping us with our workflows, learning about our customers, learning about what was working and what wasn't working. 

It was very important to us that we didn't lose a day of sales. And so, when we did our go-live, we didn't miss an order.

(Shawn) 
It's really fundamentally about working with a partner, taking time to understand your business and guide you through the process of using that software, effectively, for your business.

(Calvin) 
I mean, it was pretty scary when we had this big vision to start again but it has created an environment for us to now move forward and grow. We're super excited about the future. We see sunny skies ahead.
