The Answer Company Donates 195 Shoeboxes with Toys and School Supplies for Indigenous Youth Across Canada

The Answer Company, a leading business management solution and technology consulting firm, built & donated the shoe boxes to I Love First Peoples’ 2017 Shoebox Campaign. 

VANCOUVER, BC, December 7, 2017 – On November 30th, The Answer Company  came together to give back to their community as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Answering the Call. All five of their offices participated in a company-wide volunteer day during which they filled 195 shoeboxes with gifts for Indigenous youth  that they donated to I love First People’s  2017 Shoe Box Campaign.

I love First People is a non-profit organization that works to address and solve the complex issues facing First Peoples. They work together with leaders to empower Indigenous children and youth to succeed by motivating them to stay in school and see the benefit of education. The 2017 Shoebox Campaign is a central part of that initiative, providing kids with gifts such as coloring supplies, learning games, and toys. Each shoebox also includes an encouraging note from the person that built the box, extending words of friendship and support.

The Answer Company’s Answering the Call program gives them the opportunity to support local organizations through the donation of services and software, as well as individual and quarterly company-wide volunteer days. Children are our future, and the fact that I Love First Peoples’ focuses on helping kids see their own value and the importance of their education made participating in the Showbox Campaign an easy choice for The Answer Company. – Travel Games
– Hair Clips
– Transformer Toys
– Fidget Spinners
– Playdoh
– Beads
