The Answer Company Becomes a Member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB)

VANCOUVER, BC, May 24th, 2016 – The Answer Company is excited to announce their membership with the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB). CCAB is a nation-wide non-profit organization founded in 1982 with the goal of bridging the gap between Aboriginal people and the Canadian corporate sector. With a long history of working with Aboriginal clients, including Nisga’a Lisims Government, Meadow Lake Tribal Council, and Gitanmaax Band Council, The Answer Company is honored to join this prestigious organization.

Helping Each Other

With zero government funding, CCAB sets out to give Aboriginal people opportunities and develop skills that will allow them to be self-reliant and successful in the corporate sector. Equally as important, CCAB aims to educate Canadian businesses about Aboriginal people and help foster sustainable business relationships between Aboriginal peoples and the business sector.

Learning Opportunity

Membership with the CCAB will give The Answer Company, along with all members, unique opportunities to work together and forge partnerships. CCAB hosts a wide variety of events ranging from galas to conferences, opening the doors for The Answer Company to actively participate in Aboriginal culture and business. Shawn Ostheimer, President of The Answer Company explains that ‘The Answer Company has been providing business solutions to First Nations for many years and has over 100 customers in this community but we are looking forward to a deeper relationship with First Nations through our membership with Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business. We expect our membership to allow us to serve this community even better’.

Understanding that Aboriginal businesses have unique business needs that may differ from others in the corporate sector, The Answer Company is excited for the opportunity to learn more ways they can support Aboriginal Business with tools and solutions that will help them thrive.
