We are honoured to announce Merit Functional Foods chose The Answer Company as their business technology partner to implement Sage X3. Merit Functional Foods specializes in producing the world’s highest-quality pea and canola products for the use of plant-based protein in meat and dairy alternatives. Their choice to implement Sage X3 was largely decided because of a proprietary Product Lot Characteristics module built by our team – a much-needed functionality for their 94,000 square foot facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This allows for better handling of recalls, expiration management, sustainability, allergen-free production, labeling and more.
We decided to go with Sage X3 because of its reputation as an excellent food and beverage manufacturing solution. The Answer Company displayed deep product knowledge and an awareness of the challenges of both the agricultural and food manufacturing industries and a commitment to help us meet our short implementation timeline. Their proprietary Product Lot Characteristics module was a key element for us. The fact that they have boots on the ground in Winnipeg was an added bonus!
