The Answer Company Presents at Sage ERP X3 Global Convention 2014 – Results of the First Sage ERP X3 Version 7 Implementation in North America
VANCOUVER, BC, May 13, 2014 – The Answer Company is honoured to be a presenter at the Sage ERP X3 Global Convention 2014, currently being held from May 12 until May 15 in Lisbon, Portugal. During Tuesday, May 13’s, events, Glenn Charlton, Senior Consultant of Sage ERP X3, spoke to Sage partners from around the world about The Answer Company’s experience implementing the new Sage ERP X3 Version 7 for a Canadian food distributor, Sunblest Commodities.
Presenting alongside The Answer Company were two other international Sage partners: Mr. Batcha Noordin, CEO of India-based Tema Business Systems, and Thomas Perez, Sage ERP X3 R&D Director at GFI, a Reseller of X3 based in France.
The Answer Company was one of the first partners to develop a Sage ERP X3 practice in North America. The company’s founder and President Shawn Ostheimer had the foresight to commit to the product early on and the company has since seen its Sage X3 team perform a large number of successful implementations, and continue to offer support to companies using X3 across Canada.
From its promising start, The Answer Company has continued to bring the most users to Sage ERP X3 in North America, making the company an ideal partner for the Early Adoption Program of Sage ERP X3’s Version 7. The program, launched during the 2013 edition of the Global Conference in Berlin, was designed as the final step to ensure the quality of the release in terms of product, services, and support. The results of this program were presented during Mr. Charlton’s talk at this year’s conference and a newly released Sage video reviews Sunblest’s selection of Sage ERP X3 V7.
The Sage ERP X3 Global Convention is a unique event that provides the opportunity for business partners, Sage employees, executives and experts to learn through sharing their experiences with the solution. In addition to keynote addresses, workshops and breakout sessions, it also boasts an exhibition area and networking events for the Sage ERP X3 community. This year, Sage is expecting over one thousand attendees.
Attending the conference along with Mr. Ostheimer and Mr. Charlton are additional members of The Answer Company’s Sage ERP X3 team, Vice President of Sales Richara Reimer and Solutions Architect Darren Reddies. Having overseen numerous Sage ERP X3 implementations of the system’s 6.5 version, the team carried that experience forward during the implementation of the new version. Aside from ensuring that the implementation of X3’s new version went smoothly, their experience served as a valuable point of reference of implementation methodology and challenges as compared to previous versions.
The methodology for implementing Sage X3 developed by The Answer Company is a product of years of experience, with over 1000 successful implementations and 500 supported companies since entering the software landscape as a Sage Partner over 20 years ago.
