The Answer Company Acquires Information Systems Architects (ISA) Sage 500 ERP Business and Fashion Matrix Product Line

The Answer Company, a leading provider of business management software solutions, has acquired the Sage 500 ERP division of Information Systems Architects (ISA) along with the Fashion Matrix product line. The completion of the deal further cements The Answer Company’s position as the ideal partner for growing businesses in the apparel and footwear industry.

The ISA Fashion Matrix is a comprehensive sales order entry, inventory, and warehouse management solution for the apparel and footwear industry and is designed exclusively for Sage 500 ERP – a market-leading accounting application developed by Sage Software, Inc.  Tightly integrated, these applications work together in a “best of breed” approach to providing world class functionality for fashion and accounting.

Based out of Toronto, Ontario, Information Systems Architects (ISA) has made the strategic decision to focus their efforts and resources on other solutions and services, and will no longer maintain or support its Sage 500 ERP client base. To ensure the clients continue to have excellence support though, ISA has found a welcoming home for its existing Sage customers in The Answer Company.

The agreement between the two companies means that The Answer Company takes over support and maintenance responsibilities for all Sage 500 ERP and Fashion Matrix customers previously supported by ISA. Through The Answer Company, former ISA clients whose solutions were involved in the transaction will gain access to experienced consultants with textile industry experience, technicians certified to work exclusively with Sage Solutions, as well as extensive support desk capabilities. These resources will be used to ensure a smooth transition between resellers.

The Answer Company, a Sage partner for twenty years with over 250 active customers, is based out of Vancouver, with offices in Calgary and Toronto.  The Answer Company has expressed strong commitment to tending to the needs of its newly arrived customers and is working closely together with ISA staff to learn the specific needs of its former clients. Over the coming weeks, The Answer Company will begin contacting ISA Sage customers to start the transition process. When necessary, meeting with The Answer Company’s support technicians will be arranged.

The announcement is another example of The Answer Company’s continuing growth. The deal marks the fifth acquisition by The Answer Company in the last two years, following the purchase of Essential Software Solutions’ Sage ERP business, Avante Solutions’ Saleslogix business in 2012, and two Sage PFW ERP lines of business from other Sage partners.
